How we handle your data on solvefor1.com.
1. Data controller
Mané Gallo, freelance. Contact: iam@manegallo.com.
2. Data we collect
When you fill in the contact form, we collect:
- Name.
- Company and role.
- Team size and sector.
- Email.
- Service(s) you're interested in.
- Estimated timeframe.
- The free-form message you send us.
- Your consent to this policy.
- Your optional consent to the newsletter.
We don't collect any other data automatically. The site uses no analytics or third-party cookies (see section 10).
3. Purpose
We use your data to:
- Reply to your inquiry within 48 hours.
- If you opted into the newsletter, subscribe you to Mané Gallo's newsletter Aprendiendo en público on Substack.
We don't sell, rent or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on your explicit consent, given by ticking the corresponding checkboxes in the form (GDPR Art. 6.1.a).
5. Retention
We retain form data for 24 months from the last contact, unless you request earlier deletion.
If you subscribed to the newsletter, we keep your email for as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the foot of each email.
6. Recipients and processors
- Substack Inc. (USA): newsletter provider. Emails of those who opt in are stored on its platform. International transfer is covered by the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
- iam@manegallo.com: form data is sent directly to Mané Gallo's personal mailbox via the user's email client (mailto). We don't use an intermediary email marketing provider for leads.
There are no other recipients.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure when data is no longer necessary.
- Object to processing.
- Request restriction of processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
8. How to exercise your rights
Send an email to iam@manegallo.com stating which right you want to exercise. We'll reply within 30 days.
9. Complaints
If you feel your rights have not been properly addressed, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency: aepd.es.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
Solvefor1.com does not use analytics or third-party cookies. The only external technology we load is Google Fonts (Manrope, Instrument Serif, JetBrains Mono), which sends your IP to Google to serve the fonts. We don't use Google Analytics or any other tracking tool.
11. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, the date at "Last updated" below will reflect it. Substantial changes will be communicated by email to newsletter subscribers.
